Week 38

Running order updated

Week 37

A pretty sorry affair all round.

Only five correct across the board with the only excitement a 90th minute equaliser for Brentford at Fulham saving yours truly from a black cross.

Steve-B meanwhile completes a whole ten weeks of incorrect selections, something a blindfolded monkey stabbing a stick of spaghetti at a fixture list would find difficult to do. I've awarded him a WAC point to commemorate the occasion.

Week 38 beckons.

Black Cross Ade.

Division Two continue their outstanding form this season with yet another win, this time £30, which takes the total contribution to the kitty from this division to £210. Coupled with the smallest losings total across the leagues it's all in all an impressive run of form, especially when you also consider the quality value-for-money selections that have been made and got right time and again.

The Premier League however, suffer once again at the hands of Ade. In a desperate attempt to match the skill shown in Div Two he abandons his normal trophy-hunting-massive-odds-on-selection for something approaching a bit of value. Unfortunately this tactic backfires horribly as Newcastle win comfortably at Leicester and he is left nursing a £53 black cross. WAC points duly awarded and he now has the Chairman in his sights for hits to the kitty.

Well done to the Chairman for two correct selections this week and well done to Paul, the only one right in Div 3.
